Today’s the Day! Let Bristol Cocktail Week 2015 Commence!
Monday, 19th October is when this year’s Bristol Cocktail Week’s fun starts! BCW really kicks off in style with the Bristol Bartender Competition when Bristol’s talented and passionate bartenders compete in a series of knock-out rounds to decide who will be Bristol’s Best Bartender 2015 and holder of the Bristol Cocktail Cup.
Last year, the well-deserved winner was Emilio de Salvo, formerly of Red Light, Unity Street, Bristol and now of Little Red Door, Paris. We’ve heard a rumour he’s even come back to Bristol especially to see who is going to steal his crown!
This year, there are four rounds, starting at midday at Goldbrick House on Park Street.
This even is not normally open to the public.
However, for the first time in Bristol Cocktail Week’s history, a limited number of tickets have been made available for the public to attend the nail-biting Bristol Cocktail Cup final which, this year, will be held at Flipside Cocktail Club on Whiteladies Road, Bristol. If you love the bar trade in Bristol and have always wanted to see Bristol’s finest bartenders in action in a comp, come along this evening. The atmosphere will be electric!
